Hi friends!!
For those that don’t know me, my name is Ella! I’m 19 years old and am currently on the World Race in Costa Rica! I am from Georgia where I live with my dog, my mom, my dad, and my twin brother. My sister lives in Florida where she works as a behavioral therapist. We are all super close and they have been my biggest support through this journey.
I stumbled upon the World Race a few years ago on Instagram and was immediately drawn to the idea. Taking a year off school, traveling, and working with others to spread God’s love? Sounds like a DREAM!!! Honestly still feels like a dream even though I am living that dream… God is really so good and true and I feel beyond blessed that He has called me to show others His love and tell them that they are made worthy in Christ. EXCITING!!!!!
I have always been so fascinated with the world and all of it’s beauty but have never been able to see much of it. I remember being younger and thinking how cool it would be to just travel around without a care in the world. I am truly a “stop and smell the roses” kind of gal. Flowers are my favorite thing and I love learning about how others live. I am the girl that drives and gets easily distracted by the sunset or the wildflowers along the back roads by my house (sorry, Mom and Dad). Loving others is something I do passionately and with my whole heart. I am one of those people who can go anywhere and run into at least one person I know, I am friends with people of all crowds, and I always look for the best in people. Ever since I was little my mom has always said that I am a people-person. The more I realize these things, the more I know the race is for me. I cannot wait to love on others and show them how much a life with Jesus can and will change everything. Not that things will be perfect or that they must be perfect, but simply that they are loved, worthy, and a child of God. What an honor 🙂
Come walk alongside me and join me in this journey I meet the Lord in His plans & help bring Kingdom to Earth! I am beyond blessed and beyond excited to continue to share more about this journey through this blog. If you want to stay up to date, you can subscribe to this blog where I’ll be posting pretty frequently.
Thank you again, I’ve said it close to a million times but I truly could not be more thankful for the support and for everyone who took the time to read all I have to say!
